FREIGHT SHEDS IN FLAMES.

Steamship Property Burned on the Levee at New Orleans.

New Orleans, La., Nov. 4.—Fire this afternoon destroyed the freight sheds of the West Indian and Pacific Steamship Company, on the levee, between Felicity and St. James streets, together with the contents, including 4,000 bales of cotton, valued at $120,000; wharf, cars, sheds, molasses, staves, screwman's tools, oil cake, etc., valued at $30,000. The total loss is $150,000, well covered by insurance. The fire is believed to be of incendiary origin.
