MOTHER BRINGING VERA BENNAGE HOME
Rock Island Woman Goes to Milwaukee for Her Daughter--Will Arrive Tonight.

Mrs. C. V. Bennage, 1827 1/2 Second avenue, departed yesterday for Milwaukee to bring home her young daughter, Vera, who eloped to that city last week with Frank Covert of Hannibal, Mo. Covert is now serving a nine-day sentence at Milwaukee on a charge of vagrancy. Mrs. Bennage and her daughter are expected home this evening. The girl had been employed as an assistant at the hair dressing and manicuring parlors conducted by her mother on Second avenue.
