WILLIAMSBURG, (in Virginia) May 29.

The Otway, Capt. Salisbury, is arrived in five Weeks from Liverpool, and acquaints us, that Admiral Saunders had the good Fortune to fall in with Du Quesne's Squadron before they reached Cartagena, and that he took the whole Fleet; but two Vessels arrived in York River from Gibraltar mention his taking only two, which arrived at Gibraltar before they sailed, and one drove ashore: That the largest Ship, the Foudroyant, had 400 Men killed in the Engagement, as she was very full of Men, having besides her Compliment of Seamen, 800 Soldiers on board.
