A Good Time Coming.
Fortunately there is now a strongly marked tendency to make the great towns of the country healthier and more picturesque, by providing better sanitation, more open spaces, and more natural attractions In this way life will be brightened, and in time made less monotonous. It is useless, we fear. to hope for a time when every house will have a garden, although this is what ought to be aimed at.
But it is not too much to hope that the time will come when every house will be within easy reach of a park or recreation ground.
