Patricia Arlene Pipo, senior at Franklin High School, is one of five Seattle teen-agers honored early this month and given expense-paid trips to the National Junior Achiever's Conference to be held August 18 at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
The other teen-agers are David O. Wynstra, Roosevelt High School junior; Linnea Carlson, Queen Anne High School sophomore; Betty McClean, Queen Anne High junior; and Mike Jefferson, Roosevelt High junior.
The awards were announced at a banquet held at the Masonic Temple in recognition of the achievements of 400 teen-age members of 29 junior companies in the city.
Patricia Pipo is also the recipient of a $1,500 scholarship to be used in a college of her choice for one year.
Patricia is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Viv Pipo, 1238 17th Ave. N.
