Columbia Rifle Association

The annual meeting of the Columbia Rifle association was held at their rooms last evening. The following gentlemen were elected officers of the association for the ensuing year: Col. J. O. P. Burnside, president; Prof. William Harkness, vice president; F. W. Lantz, secretary; George W. Evans, treasurer; Dr. S. Scott, range officer, and Messrs. W. L. Cash, James F. Oyster, J. M. Pollard and A. A. Adee, executive committee. The association adopted a motion fixing Tuesdays and Saturdays for shooting, the former day to club practice and the latter to entrance fee matches. The executive committee was authorized to arrange a programme for the spring and summer shooting.
