We learn from the Bulletin of the Mechanics' News Room, that a man by the name of Seleneus Adams was brought to this city on Wednesday night on an Executive Warrant from Saco, Me. by Constable Coolidge, on an indictment found at the last term of the Municipal Court on a charge of obtaining Goods by false pretences from Webster, Chase & Co. merchants of this city. Judge Thatcher required bonds in the sum of $2000, and he was committed for want thereof, to take his trial at the next term. — Boston Cent.
