Delaney Host to District Confab

The Delaney Memorial Methodist Church, 1507 Massachusetts St., Gary, will be host to the Chicago District Lexington Conference of the Methodist Church August 2-3, 1960 with J.R. Middleton, host pastor and J.A. Greene, District Superintendent, presiding.

Conference Theme is 'Jesus Christ Is Lord.'

Registration and Organization will take place Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m.

Quadrennial Emphasis on the work of the Commissions, and organizations will be discussed by district and conference leaders.

District reports will also be made.

The Holy Communion will take place Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. with District Superintendent Greene, presiding, assisted by J.R. Middleton and Alfred Clay.

Music will be furnished by the choir.
