Services for Sunday as Announced in the Various Churches in the City.

ELOQUENT SON OF THE OLD DOMINION
W. T. Bundick, the Temperance Orator, to Speak at Freemason Street Baptist Church at 3:30 O'clock This Afternoon-Interesting Services in All the Churches.

At the First English Lutheran church preaching by the pastor, Rev. J. E. Schenk, at 11 a. m. and 7:30 p. m. Sunday school at 10 a. m. Rev. Alexander Stuart, D. D., of Christ Church, Georgetown, D. C., will preach at St. Paul's Episcopal church to-morrow morning at 11 o'clock. Rev. F. H. Martin will preach at the Gospel Mission, 350 Chapel street (new number) at 3 p. m. All are cordially invited. Sacred Heart church-First mass, 7:30 a. m.; second mass, 11 a. m. A short vesper service, followed by sermon and benediction of blessed sacrament at 7:30 p. m. Subject of sermon, "Holy Eucharist." Huntersville M. E. church, South-Preaching by Rev. R. W. Webb at 11 a. m. Subject, "False Professors:" 7:30 p. m. subject, "Popular Religion." Sunday school at 9:30 a. m. Rev. D. P. Session will deliver the third of his present series of lectures on "The Black Man in America" at the St. John's A. M. E. church to-morrow evening at 8 o'clock. Subject, "His Success as a Business Factor."

Queen Street M. E. Church, South-Rev. J. W. Moore, pastor-Services to-day at 11 a. m. and 7:30 p. m. Morning subject, "What is the Chief Factor in Civilization?" Evening, "Enduring as Good Soldiers." Epworth League at 4 p. m. Centenary M. E. church-Preaching to-day by the pastor, Rev. W. H. Edwards, at 11 a. m. and 7:30 p. m. Cumberland Street M. E. church-Preaching at 11 a. m. to-day by Rev. C. W. Pettit, and at 7:30 p. m. by Rev. J. W. Crowder. Sunday school at 9:30 a. m. Epworth M. E. Church, South-Services to-day at 11 a. m. and 7:30 p. m. Preaching by the pastor, Rev. W. J. Young, D. D. Morning subject, "The Divine Mission of Suffering." Evening subject, "Christ Himself as a Proof of the Divine Origin of Christianity." Sunday school at 9:45 a. m. The sermon at night is the second of the series in answer to the popular forms of modern doubt.

THE PRESBYTERIANS.
Second Presbyterian church, the pastor, Rev. W. S. Lacy, D. D., will preach to-day at 11 a. m. and at 6:30 p. m. Sunday school at 9:30 a. m. Young People's prayer meeting at 3 p. m. First Presbyterian Church, Rev. Dr. J. R. Howerton, pastor, will preach to-morrow at 11 a. m. and 7:30 p. m. Sabbath school at 9:30 a. m. Young People's meeting at 6:45 p. m.

THE BAPTISTS.
Freemason Street Baptist church-Preaching at 11 a. m. and 7:30 p. m. Morning subject: "Saul of Tarsus." At night, Rev. Wilbur F. Crafts, of Washington, D. C., will preach. Grace Baptist Church, Rev. L. J. Wright, pastor-Preaching by the pastor at 11 a. m. and 7:30 p. m. Morning theme, "Grieve Not the Holy Spirit, Whereby We are Sealed Unto the Day of Redemption." Evening theme, "The Place, Manner, and Purpose of the Crucifixion." Sunday school at 9:30 a. m. B. Y. P. U. at 3 p. m. Promiscuous meeting. This church to-day at 3 p. m. will begin a mission Sunday school in Lindenwood, under the leadership of Mr. C. H. Blair. They will also hold prayer meeting there every Thursday evening at 7:30 o'clock. Rev. E. B. Hatcher has returned from his Western tour, and will preach from his pulpit at the First Baptist Church this morning and to-night. He reports good success in his work of soliciting funds for his church, but incurred a severe cold while away, from which, however, he is rapidly recovering.

MR. BUNDICK SPEAKS.
To-day at 3:30 p. m. Virginia's temperance orator, Mr. W. T. Bundick, of Onancock, Accomac county, speaks on temperance at Freemason Street Baptist church. His reputation as an orator is national. Though a trained and polished speaker, he is not a made, but a born orator, of fine presence, graceful of gesture as of speech, he is as pleasing on the rostrum as in private life.

BOYS' GOSPEL ARMY.
All boys under sixteen years of age are invited to be present this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the meeting of the army to be held at the Y. M. C. A. All boys attending will be given an opportunity to recite a verse of scripture if memorized before coming into the meeting. Only one more Sunday will be counted in the record for the Bible offered to the boy making the best record in attendance, deportment, and punctuality. Rev. Wilbur F. Crafts will deliver his celebrated lecture "Before the Lost Arts," at the Y. M. C. A. this afternoon at 4 o'clock. Mr. Crafts will preach at 11 a. m. at the Queen Street Methodist church, and at 7:30 p. m. in the Freemason Street Baptist church, on "The March of Christ Down the Centuries."
