The Foshay Club and Mutual Benefit Association is a club formed in all properties controlled by the W. B. Foshay Company for the purpose of promoting good fellowship and to take care of the welfare of all employees both as regards their participation in Group Insurance and to lend a helping hand to those who may require it for any reason.
After the regular business was conducted with Edward Morales in the chair, the evening was given over to social enjoyment. Light refreshments were served, several musical numbers were given, modern and old fashion dances were indulged in. The program was interspersed with several short extempore speeches by different members of the organizations, both in English and Spanish, among which were short talks by Mr. Morrissey in English and by Jesus Ocampo and Henry Ramirez in Spanish. The meeting was voted by all as a very marked success and is the forerunner of others which will be held regularly.
