WILLIAMSBURG, DEC. 19.

By a gentleman just from the continental camp, we have the following intelligence:

Our army is moved up as high as Chestnut Hill, so that our army is but four or five miles distance. A battle will probably ensue, which it is to be hoped may prove decisive, and effectually break up the vile net of British and Hessian banditti, with their motley gang of wretched and forlorn Tories, who have too long infested this free and happy land.

Success to General WASHINGTON!
