Full Text

NEW YORK, Nov. 26.

Extract of a Letter from Crown Point, dated Nov. 16:

I believe I shall bring my next to you myself, I expect to set out for home tomorrow with the Jersey Regiment. Yesterday came in here from Canada about 300 prisoners, a number of officers included from different parts of Canada, who were taken at different times, from 4 years ago until 2 months ago. As for particular news they bring, I will not undertake; 'tis like you may have it from some of the Officers, better than I can inform you. Our sloops arrived here this day with two French sloops they have been raising out of the water, where the French had sunk them.
