BURIED IN THE SNOW.—The Truckee Republican of March 8th gives this incident:

An incident occurred at the Truckee Lumber Company's factory, on Saturday, which turned out to be a joke, but which came near resulting seriously to one man. The snow on the factory building was settling pretty deep, and James Ware, the Superintendent, concluded to have it shoveled off. So he accordingly set a gang of men at work on the job. They had not more than got started, and shoveled the snow away from the eaves, when it took a sudden notion and slid off, carrying the men with it and completely burying three of them in eight or ten feet of snow. They were all taken out unhurt but one, and he only had a few scratches and bruises, and is all right now. It was a close shave, however, and one man would not be willing to repeat the performance.
