OSYKA, Miss., Jan. 29.—Two Negro brothers, accused by Constable Nolan Wall of attacking him when he tried to take them to jail, are in fair condition in a Jackson hospital with bullet wounds.
Wall said he fired three times backward through his coat Saturday night at Amos Chester, 28, and Charles Chester, 26.
The constable said the men resisted when he tried to arrest them for reckless driving as they traveled on U. S. Highway 51 with two women. The two pushed Wall down an embankment after they were shot, Wall said, and drove their own car to a hospital at McComb, their home town. They were transferred later to Jackson.
