(By Associated Press.)
NEW YORK, Nov. 1—At a meeting of the executive committee of the West Virginia Fire Underwriters Association and the committees of Western and Eastern unions to consider the percentage of the advance in rates undertaken in part in that state today the unanimous decision was reached in favor of rescinding the advance so far as it has thus far been made to apply. This action was taken in view of the fact that a general application of the analytical schedule is being made in West Virginia, the result of which will be an advance in rates upon such risks where an advance is no more than justifiable and needed.
