Homicide in Douglas County.

A correspondent from Genoa informs the Union that a man by the name of George White was killed at Lobdell's Ranch, on the Esmeralda road, on Sunday last, by John Miller, under the following circumstances:

White had made some remarks about Miller's domestic affairs. Miller demanded a retraction, which White refused to make. Whisky, shot-guns and pistols were introduced, and White was shot through the body and died next day. The deceased was from Indiana, and aged about 45 years. John Miller is an old resident of that vicinity.
