"The General with the Rear and last Division of the Army, sets out for Pittsburgh on Monday Morning. Since the Action of the 7th our Communication has been unmolested by the Enemy; and in a Conference held the 8th, with a great Number of Indians at Pittsburgh, they engaged to put a Stop to such Interruptions, and in a solemn Manner declared inviolably to help the Peace. -- Braddock's Road, 'tis said, is almost finished, and 30,000 wt. of Flour, 240 Bullocks, and a great Number of Sheep, it is thought, are arrived at Pittsburgh, before the Date of this Letter."
