THREE NEW FIRE ALARM BOXES.

Test Alarms Will Be Rung at Noon Hour Today.

Chief Stanton has installed three new and modern fire alarm boxes and they will be given a tryout this noon.

At 12 o'clock box 234, which is jointly for the Turner-Stanton company and the Brainard-Armstrong company in Golden street, will be struck.

At 12.15 the new box, No. 5, at Hopkins & Allen Arms company's, will be sounded, and No. 142, at Givenaud's silk mill in Mechanic street, will be rung. These are all private boxes.
