Colonel Ferris to Be Transferred to Kansas

MOORE FIELD, May 18-(Spl.)

Lieut. Col. C. I. Ferris, Moore Field executive officer, has received orders to report to Coffeyville, Kans., May 25 for duty as commanding officer of a new Air Corps basic flying school.

Lieut. Col. Ferris has served 17 years in the Army, three of them in Hawaii. He is a graduate of the Air Technical school, the Air Corps Tactical School and the Command and General Staff School.

Prior to his assignment to Moore Field early this year he held the post of Station Technical Inspector at Kelly Field, San Antonio.
