Full Text

The Primary Election.—Everything passed off peaceably in town to-day. There was no fighting or rowdyism exhibited at the polls. The number of votes cast is the best evidence of the interest the people took in the matter. In the First Ward there were 205 votes cast at a little after 1 o'clock. The general impression on the street is that delegates who favor the election of Edgerton, will be largely in the majority.

Governor Nye's friends also secured a large number of delegates pledged to support his Excellency for United States Senator. Probably by the time this issue of the Bulletin shall be published, the question of who shall be our first Representatives in the Senate of the United States, will have been decided.—Bulletin of yesterday.
