The Beaumont School of Nursing, Inc. will hold its first commencement on Friday night, June 8, at 8 p. m. at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, with the Rev. M. L. King, Jr., as the commencement speaker.
In this class there are approximately 100 candidates for graduation. The valedictorian is Miss Mary N. Topsail; Mrs. Grace Butler, Salutatorian and Mrs. Susie Gordon, class speaker.
Beaumont's alumni association has also been organized with the members of the first class as charter members. Mrs. Susie Gordon has been elected president of the alumni. Mrs. Elizabeth Frye, vice-president, Mrs. Mattie Jester, secretary, and Mrs. Elsie Maddox, treasurer.
The public is invited to this commencement program.
