Full Text

From the Public Advertiser.

The gazette has lately given us a short abstract from the letters of the Governor of Canada, informing the public, "that one Arnold was arrived at Point Levi, opposite to Quebec, with a body of provincials."

Notwithstanding the contemptuous manner in which the Governor affects to mention Colonel Arnold, I will venture to affirm, from my personal knowledge, both of the Governor and Colonel, that this one Arnold is at least worth ten Carletons; and this opinion, I am persuaded, both the past and future events will fully justify. I am, one who glories in the name of

AMERICAN.
