Full Text
It will be seen by a notice in our advertising columns, that the steam-boat Macdonough is to leave Hartford on Wednesday next for New London, Norwich and Sag-Harbour. We can with great pleasure recommend this excursion to our fellow citizens. We have never visited Sag-Harbour—but New London and Norwich are delightful places. The latter is rendered particularly so by the politeness and hospitality of its citizens, as well as by the beauty and majesty of the surrounding scenery. There are also beautiful ladies there—very many. It is one of those places, in which a stranger rarely passes a weary hour.
