The Minister of the Interior of the French Republic has presented to the Consuls a very long Report upon the Subject of the trade of France. The Report states, that in 1800, the imports of France amounted to 135,410,000l. and the exports to 112,910,000l. leaving a balance against France of 22,500,000l.

In 1801, the importations of France from the different countries of Europe amounting to about 173,750,000l. and her exports to 126,150,000l. leaving a balance against France of about four millions and a half. The importations into France during the same year, from Asia, Africa, and America, amounted to 96,541l. and her exports only to 86,661l. leaving a balance against France of nearly 80,000l.
