Sanders County Republicans met at the City Park in Plains Thursday (Last week) for a pot luck dinner.
County Chairman A. L. Libra of Thompson Falls, introduced the candidates; Wesley Stearns, Plains; Dale Shook, Plains; Norma Knegs kern, Thompson Falls, Tom Scott, Thompson Falls;
State Senator Glenn H. Larson, Thompson Falls was unable to be present because of a meeting in Seattle, as chairman of the Columbia Compact Commission.
Mrs Wendell Stephens, Paradise and E. L. Johnson, Plains gave reports of the State Convention which they had attended.
Mrs F. S. Burdick, Plains, retiring county chairman, was presented with a beautiful serving dish from the organization for services of many years as chairman. Mrs Stephens, County Woman's Republican Club chairman, presented the gift.
