The cast of Dallin's statue of peace, represented by an Indian seated on his pony in a pacific attitude, which was placed in the city and county building as a gift from the Jubilee commission, is in somewhat of a dilapidated state and ought either to be put in shape or removed from the building, as in its present condition it is not ornamental. A portion of the right hand is broken off and the spear is gone altogether. It has been removed from the main entrance to a less conspicuous place pending the needed repairs.
