Are you planning to attend the Federated Church Sunday night?
The Drama Club has another treat in store for you if you are.
Virginia Church's play, "What Men Live By." under the direction of Everett Fisher will be presented as the sermon of the evening The play is a modern dramatization of Leo Tolstoy's famous story, "Where Love Is, There God Is Also." The leading role. Simon. the cobler is taken by Wilbur Arnold. The theme of the play is a poor peasant trying to practice in actual life, the teachings of Jesus. The incidents and involvements of the plot happen as a result of that fact.
The stage setting carries us back to old Russia in the days before the Revolution. Stage and costumes will be designed to harmonize as well as possible. At any rate this play will still be a little different from any we have had yet.
The public is cordially invited to attend this service. No admission will be charged. However, the congregation will have an opportunity to express their appreciation of the service and of the play by participation in the offering.
