A Death-Bed Confession,

BANGOR, Me., April 29.-Twenty years ago Daniel Morrison, a wealthy sportsman of Ohio, was murdered and robbed near Moosehead lake, and all attempts to hunt down the murderer were unsuccessful. Friday, however, after a lapse of about twenty years, a letter was received from Bonanza City, Idaho, containing a death-bed confession of a man named Markham, who was a wood-chopper by occupation, and who claims that he murdered Morrison for the purpose of robbing him, escaped to Canada, and from there made his way west.
