In the debate on the Canada Bill, in the British House of Commons, on the 11th of May, Mr. BURKE said, that he was removed from the party with whom he was accustomed to sit, that he was no longer oppressed with their friendships and that he looked for open but fair hostility.--Mr. FOX said, he was sorry to hear the Right Hon. Gentleman declare, that he was separated from the party; but if he was, it was his own choice, and whenever he should think proper to repent, he would find his friends with open arms to receive him. Mr. BURKE declared, that he never would again return to the party; for if he did, he must return as a degraded man.
