WCKT, channel 7, launches a new weekly public service series under the auspices of the University of Miami, titled "Career Clinic," commencing Sunday, Feb. 10 at 1 p.m.
The program directed to high school students and their parents, deal with the value and effects of a college education on the youth of America. By means of panel discussions and visual illustrations, "Career Clinic" will help youth select the field of his choice and demonstrate how his potentialities can be developed and enhanced by college training.
Each program will include persons representing: high school students interested in deciding on a career, University professors in the field, an undergraduate student in the field, and a graduate who has succeeded in the field.
Peter Vander Linden, vocational guidance counsellor at the University of Miami Guidance Clinic will preside.
The following is a schedule of the various subjects to be featured on the program.
