Would you approve of increasing the speed limit on W. Broad-st from 35 to 40 miles per hour?
Travious Faught, 164 Wisconsin-av: "I don't think five miles faster on Broad-st would hurt anything. After all, plenty of the drivers on W. Broad-st drive 40 miles per hour or faster right now."
Mrs. Robert L. Katon, 129 N. Princeton-av: "I don't think it would make much difference in either speeding or slowing up traffic, as the lights are set so that you can drive only a certain speed anyway. There are just too many traffic lights to get up much speed on W. Broad-st."
M. L. McCauley, 36 Brehl-av: "No, I drive a bus on Broad-st and I think it's zoned very well as it is. I do think the 25 mile-per-hour areas could be increased to 35 miles, however. But 35 is fast enough considering there are several schools and many businesses which demand slower traffic."
Mrs. Herman J. Price, 59 S. Princeton-av: "No. I think it is fast enough as it is. Many drive faster than 35 miles now and I think it is too dangerous."
Mrs. M. F. Baker, 156 N. Central-av: "I think they could increase the speed limit in some areas of W. Broad-st. The street is so chopped up with some business sections, some residential and long stretches of almost nothing that I feel they could rezone it so that busy sections have the 35-mile limit while the less hazardous have a 40-mile limit."
