Girl Scouts Holding Day Encampments

The Erwin Girl Scouts and Brownie Troops began their week of Day Camp Monday. The Camp site is Maynard's Lake. The Camp begins at nine o'clock in the morning and ends at four in the afternoon.

Monday the group spent the day setting up camp, and the remainder of the week will be spent in outdoor cooking, handicraft and various other outdoor works.

Leaders at the camp are Mrs. Mary McNair of Sanford, Mrs. Byron Stevens, Erwin Girl Scout leader, Mrs. Harold Maynard, Mrs. Thomas Harper, Mrs. Chester Taylor, Mrs. Teddy Neidzwick, Mrs. Z. E. Matthews and Misses Sara Margaret Swanson, Iris Williams, Bessie Holt, Daphine Matthews.
