Swanks Purchase Keithtown Store

Mr. and Mrs. John K. Swank of Keithtown have purchased the general store in that community, owned and operated the past four years by Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Hughes. The Swanks took possession on Feb. 16 and will continue handling the same lines of merchandise.

On Friday evening, Feb. 17, the Hughes entertained with a farewell party for their customers in appreciation of their patronage during their operation of the store. Music was furnished by a local orchestra and ice cream was served.

The Hughes are undecided as to their plans for the future.
