The roll call showed 25 in attendance.

Officers elected by the auxiliary were: President, Mrs. Z. V. Patterson, Oxford; vice-president, Mrs. J. E. Shaw, Macon; secretary-treasurer, Mrs. P. S. Kearney, Oxford.

Postmaster Speight, of Rocky Mount, praised the fine work done by the rural carriers, and a short talk was made by R. T. Stewart, postmaster at Middleburg.

The convention voted to meet again next year at the Middleburg Community House on Friday afternoon and evening before May 30, which is on Sunday in 1937.

The full slate of officers elected by the rural carriers followed: President, C. M. Watkins, Middleburg; vice-president, B. C. Nicholson, Essex; secretary-treasurer, A. B. Laughter, Norlina. Delegates to the State convention at Hickory July 3-4 were named to include B. C. Nicholson, Essex; A. B. Laughter, Norlina; alternates, V. W. Weaver, Louisburg; C. M. Watkins, Middleburg.

Members of the executive committee: For Warren county, W. C. Bobbitt, Warrenton; for Vance county, J. S. Milne, Henderson; Franklin, J. W. Weaver, Louisburg; Granville, G. A. Green, Oxford; Halifax, B. C. Nicholson, Essex.
