BEAUTICIANS GIVE BETHUNE-COOKMAN $5,000

Dr. Richard V. Moore, president of Bethune-Cookman College returned from California where he spent the last 12 days in the interest of the college as guest of the 12th Annual Convention of the United Beauty School Owners and Teachers Association, Alpha Chi Pi Omega Sorority and Fraternity.

Dr. Moore was guest in San Francisco where he greeted many Floridians.

Approximately 700 beauticians were in attendance from 44 states.

Dr. Moore also was speaker for the beauticians in Los Angeles.
