Full Text
The Express indulges in a fling at what it calls "The pennyswipe sheets" and their editors. If we understand the meaning of the term our contemporary is talking about itself and its editors and we fully concur in its remarks for a more sycophantic, toadying sheet is not published on the Pacific coast.
Still we do not pretend to say its "editors, accumulated and amalgamated in a million years, would not together furnish the constituents for one gentleman" for we are a firm believer in the theory that sometimes something may be adduced from nothing.
