LEAGUE CONVENTION TO MEET

At the weekly meeting of the Afro-American League last evening, a communication from Hon. T. Thomas Fortune was read.

He said the national convention would be held between September 14 and 20, either at Rochester, N. Y., or Indianapolis, Ind., to be decided later.

Some of those favoring this movement are: Bishop A. Walters, Hon. C. H. Taylor, Atlanta, Ga.; Professor J. M. Gregory, Bordentown, N. J.; Bishop J. W. Hood, Fayetteville, N. C.; H. T. Johnson, D.
