ANNAPOLIS. (Maryland) Feb. 18.

The Boat which we mentioned a Fortnight ago to be run a shore at the Cliffs, proves to be the same as was suppos'd: There were eight Persons in her, of which one Woman, (the Wife of Henry Baldwin) and three of her Children, perished.

A few Days after, when a number of people went to get off the Boat, which was near and just under a high Clift, one of them call'd out to the rest, and told them he heard a Crack in the Clift, on which they hastily left her, & had but just got away when a large Body of it, suppos'd to be about 40,000 Weight, fell, & smash'd the Boat to Pieces; but none of the People were hurt.
