GUNNISON COUNTY'S THRIFT STAMP CAMPAIGN A WINNER

Dr. J. H. Kelley reports on the Thrift Stamp campaign that this county is way over the top. 'With a quota of $126,180 the people subscribed $178,295 or $52.115 in excess. or considerably over one-third more than they were asked for. Very few districts fell below their quota. Crested Butte more than doubled theirs. We do not print the list as it might be held to reflect on those that failed to reach the top, and we presume there were good reasons why this should be the case in some districts.

All told it was a creditable showing and much credit is due the able lieutenants who secured such good results.
