NAVY SHIP SOUGHT STORMS: NONE FOUND
WASHINGTON, D. C., Sept. 16. (AP)-The ship that the Navy sent to sea to look for a storm has returned without finding one after a week of searching.
The cruiser Pensacola was dispatched from Newport, R. I., Sept. 2 to find it rough enough to test its newly installed anti-rolling tanks. Day after day the crew whistled in vain for a wind.
The Pensacola steamed along as placidly as a ferry boat. Each day the Navy Department received from its special expert aboard which was the same "no results."
