Full Text
Some of the papers are making a great fuss over the announcement that Mrs. Garfield is to be married again. We fail to see that it is the business of any one but the contracting parties. Mrs. Garfield is certainly old enough to decide the question for herself and there is no reason why she should figure as a recluse for the rest of her life. As the gentleman she has selected is a minister he is likely to prove a good husband and the TATTLER in advance wishes the bride and groom all the happiness that is usually supposed to be the outcome of such an important event.
