Judge Harney heard his motion calendar this morning, and disposed of considerable motion business.
The motion to quash the summons in the suit of Marsh against Mullins was set for a hearing next Saturday.
The judgment recently rendered against the defendant in the suit of W. B. Thompson against W. P. Purham was vacated and the suit dismissed upon the application of the attorney of the plaintiff.
The plaintiff's proofs in the divorce suit of Crubbuck against Crubbuck was set for a hearing on next Saturday.
In the suit of S. Corby against W. H. Abbott, the court made an order instructing the county treasurer to pay to the plaintiff the sum of $783.20, money in his hands involved in the suit. The money was paid to the treasurer to await the outcome of the action, and the order this morning was made upon an affidavit of the plaintiff.
The motion in the suit of Evans against the Lake Shore Mining company was set for a hearing on November 21.
In the suit of J. H. Trerise against the Boston & Montana Mining company, the order to show cause was up for a hearing, but the setting was vacated by stipulation and the motion made subject to being called up again by either party, upon five days' notice to the adverse party.
The motion to adopt and reject findings in the suit of Joseph Demars against C. O. Hudon was continued for two weeks.
The same sort of a motion in the suit of J. W. Shackleton against Francis & Brewer was continued for the same period.
The court continued the motion for judgment in the suit of William Marshead against W. H. Orr and others for one week upon the application of one of the parties. The demurrer in the suit of Nora Driscoll against W. A. Clark was continued for a week also.
In the divorce suit of Sadie Cobie against Charles Cobie the plaintiff's proofs, which were to have been heard this morning, were continued for a week.
