Full Text

This morning an Indian woman, upon awakening from her slumbers, discovered that she had been robbed of about fifteen dollars. With that intuition peculiar to her sex, she at once fastened the theft upon a person who frequented her place, and with whom she had had a quarrel. Upon examination, however, the money was found in possession of another party, one of her chief friends and admirers, who to save arrest disgorged. All parties being thieves and vagabonds the authorities suffered the affair to rest.
