Washington High P-T.A.
To Mark Founder's
Day Next Friday

Plans were completed for the annual observance of Founders Day for the P-T.A. of Booker T. Washington high school in the regular meeting Friday evening at the school.

Many parents whose children are attending Washington High for the first time joined the group of workers and pledged their support in putting over the various programs of the school.

At the close of the meeting, which was presided over by Mrs. Dollie J. Alexander, the parents and teachers present were taken through the new cafeteria, which will be open for use next week.

Principal C L. Harper, who acted as a guide through the spacious, beautifully equipped building adjoining the main building, was highly commended by those present for the wonderful things he is doing for the youth in Atlanta.

The Alumni quartet, directed by Mrs. E. M. Groves, rendered special music for the parents and teachers.
