Full Text
A correspondent observes, that he fears greatly for the State of Massachusetts lest they should relax from that genuine and truly republican spirit which formerly governed all their councils.--They have already ingloriously fettered the press,--and now, behold an act is passed their house of assembly for the admission of those pests of our land, the refugees. At this, however their constituents express the greatest dissatisfaction, and hope it will be negatived by the senate.
