KIRKER ATTENDING TOBACCO SESSION

Expect Drive For Cut-Out To Start For Next Year

Charles S. Kirker, chairman of the Adams County Soil Conservation Association and former chairman of the Adams county tobacco association, is in Washington this week along with representatives from all tobacco producing states.

This meeting was called to discuss the new tobacco compact, which is now under consideration, in tobacco producing states.

It is thought that a drive will again be made for a tobacco "cut-out" for the coming year to prevent over-production.
