Full Text
The last Oracle has given from the Independent American, a sketch of the prominent characters in the 11th Cong. but has wholly omitted any notice of the New-Hampshire representation.— Do they concede that they were mere cyphers in that body, during the most momentous period since the formation of our government? Or is it a modest intimation that, though unpromising, we must give them another trial to conquer that "invincible perturbation" which has kept them thus far silent?--Surely in times of peril, gentlemen of weak nerves should not be found in the national Councils.
