WLB ORDERS AMBASSADOR HOTEL HELP BACK TO JOBS

HOLLYWOOD, July 7. (UP)-

Five hundred affiliated culinary workers AFL, Friday were under War Labor Board order to return to their jobs at the swank Ambassador hotel after a week's strike for closed shop and a wage increase.

The management met wage demands but the closed-shop issue still was unsettled and the WLB refused to hear the case while the strike is in progress.

All of the Ambassador's eating and drinking establishments were closed by the walkout.
