Tacoma Burglars Tell of Depredations in the Northwest.

Tacoma, Wash., Feb. 28.
"Slim" Smith and Walter Murphy, burglars serving terms in the county jail, have confessed to numerous burglaries, including that of McDonald & Todd's grocery store here last fall, which was robbed of $500 worth of goods, and the store of Hyams, Pauson & Co. of Seattle, five years ago, when a glass jar containing $526 was taken. They say there is an organized gang of thieves in the northwest numbering over 200 with headquarters at Seattle, whence they operate through this state and British Columbia.
