Oliver Anderson of Spokane, Washington, Grand Master of the I.O.O.F. arrived today to pay a visit to the Nome Lodge No. A-5.
He has the distinction of being the first Grand officer ever to visit the Nome group and members are planning a full three-days program of activities.
Tonight he will meet with the Lodge in regular session and discuss problems of the lodge. Tomorrow evening a banquet in his honor will be given at the Odd Fellows' Hall. Odd Fellows, Rebekahs, wives, husbands, and escorts, will be in attendance.
Other invitations have been extended to the Grand Master, by members, include private dinners, and trips around the country.
The committee in charge of all arrangements is composed of Paul Dryden, N.G., assisted by S. David Mazen, Charles D. Jones and Robert Baldwin.
